Your subscription data

Everything you add to Recur, including imported bank statements, is stored only on your Mac. We have no servers that receive it and no way to see it.

Brand logos

To show a service's logo, Recur asks Logo.dev for the image using the service's website name (for example, netflix.com). No other details are sent.

Buying a licence

Payments are handled by Stripe, who collect your card and billing details under their own privacy policy. We receive your email address, the amount paid and a payment reference.

We store your email address, licence record and order reference so we can send and re-send your licence key and handle refunds. Emails are delivered by Resend.

Licence activation

When you activate, Recur sends your licence key and a random identifier created for that Mac. We keep a one-way hash of the identifier to enforce the 3-Mac limit. Recur checks the licence again occasionally; it works offline in between.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, by emailing greg@buildcamp.io. Deleting your purchase record means we can no longer re-send your key.
